Contrary to the name, sports massage isn't just for professional sports people, it can benefit anyone.
Not always the most relaxing treatment but improvement in flexibility and muscular tension is completely worth it!
Specific techniques are used to focus on areas of muscular tension, realign muscles, relieve pain, lengthen short muscles, improve posture and aid relaxation.
Gradual development of muscular imbalance can lead to pain and tension. For most people this is caused by repetitive activities or mental and emotional influences, or poor postures from the workplace.

TMJ Massage​
Do you suffer with headaches, clicking popping or tenderness/pain around the jaw joints? Or locking/limited opening of the mouth?
Or do you find you grind and clinch your teeth?
TMJ massage focuses on releasing the tightness and tension in the muscles surrounding the jaw joint, head and neck. Also including upper back, shoulders and chest.
After your first treatment, you will leave with a cork massage ball, stretch exercises and resources to keep the release improving between treatments.
Holistic and Relaxing Massage
This is a soothing calm massaged aimed to relax and destress the body and mind.
Repetitive slow movements are used to stretch, rest and restore the body and mind back to a natural balance.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stones are a lovely method to relieve muscle pain and tension and to simply help relaxation.
I use a combination of my hands and hot stones to massage the body.
The warmth from the stones relaxes the muscles further, helps remove toxins from the body and allows for better lymphatic flow in the body.
The combination of massage and hot stones help to expand blood vessels and encourages blood flow throughout the body.
Cupping Massage
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine where suction cups are used on the skin.
A vacuum is caused by pumping the air out of the cup while resting on the skin. A mild vacuum is used firstly to allow the cup to move over the skin as a massage. Where areas of tension are found, a cup is placed over the area and a stronger vacuum is applied leaving the cup in this position.
Benefits include pain management, reduction in inflammation increase in blood circulation, release of toxins, and aids relaxation.
Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. With a large choice of therapist grand essential oils to choose from, I can choose the perfect oil to aid any particular needs. Each oil has a multitude of benefits and when combined with massage the client inhales but also absorbs the oil for maximum benefits.
Benefits include reduction of stress and anxiety, reduction in congestion, pain relief, decrease in muscle tension, increase in sleep, aid in complete relaxation and body to mind connection and balance.
